Samsung Smartphones – When we talk about choosing or buying any smartphone especially in India with a good budget the top 2 main brands that instantly come up onto our mouth is Samsung and Apple. People be like either take a Samsung phone for features or take any iPhone for especially picture quality. And yes, this is something we all will agree on an iPhone user will never admit that Samsung is good and so as the Samsung one. Apart from jokes we literally do not know anything about both of the brand’s features but speak anything about them on the basis of our little knowledge we have heard from our friends and a little bit of Google you know. But there are so many factors and features which decides the quality of the phone apart from just look and camera. So let us talk about the difference between Apple and Samsung’s phone and take out which one is actually a better one:

What is the Difference in software (About Android and iOS)

Samsung Smartphones – We all know that there are two major companies that have become an alliance releasing a lot of cool gadgets. Both companies have two completely different software platforms. Samsung launches mobiles that work on Android versions and Apple launches mobiles working on iOS versions. The Android version has an open market and it allows the users to enjoy the surfing and downloading experience. Whereas in the iOS version you don’t exactly get the allowance to everything. People have to buy music, app, and other necessary items that are 100% compatible with the mobile. Although you have a huge market in Apple as well but still Android bags this one.

  • When it comes to comparison, Android is known to be an Open Source model whereasiOS is a closed source model but has a few open source components.
  • The family Android belongs to is the Linux and iOS belongs to the Unix family.
  • Android came into the market on 23rd September 2008 with its first-ever UI, and Apple was one year older till then as it was launched on 29th July 2007.
  • When we see both the operating systems in terms of customization, Android turns out to be a better one as you can customize almost everything in your smartphone whereas in Apple you get the liberty to customize just a few things.
  • Android is developed by Google and iOS is the development of Apple.
  • Android also provides a lot of widgets for their users but iOS provides just one which is the Notification Centre
  • Android in their latest versions have reached up to including more than 100 regional and international languages used across the world but iOS has just 34 languages embedded in it.
  • An Android user is always happy when it comes to file transfer but the iOS users face a few problems. Android users can enjoy easy data transfer at a high speed. The iOS users can enjoy data transfer to Apple products easily but when it comes to using the transferring tools with other OS there seems to be some problem. Obviously, you can do it but there are a few connections that you need to make.
  • Google provides, Google Chrome and earlier versions of internet browsers, whereas the apple store provides their best, “Safari.”
  • The best part of Apple is its voice command mode which is handled by Siri. This is one of their best things that their smartphones have. To complete this Google has launched Google Assistance as well as Google Now.
  • The latest version of Android in the market is Android 9.1 which is known as Pie and the latest Apple version in the market is iOS 11.

Price range

Apple is a benchmark company so the price tag of their mobiles is generally over 50,000 INR. Whereas when it comes to the Indian Market of Android phones, there are a lot of companies and the starting rate of low prices phones start from 5000 INR to 10,000 INR. The mid-range fluctuates between 15000 INR to 25000 INR and the high-end range is over 40000 INR. You get to enjoy features in accordance with the money you are paying for your mobile and some of the developers are giving really cool stuff for the reputation of their company.

Feature

As we know already that Android is a Linux based operating system and has emerged itself from the past few years. It has a powerful operating system that operates a huge number of applications these application usages are more comfortable yet advanced for users. It has got millions of apps available that helps in smoothing and managing one’s life. And the best part is that they are available at low cost in the market and no doubt it is very popular. Android has been a strong and only competitor of iOS as they have given features such as better battery, better camera, good UI and a lot more things. Both the companies, Samsung and Apple have produced the best smartphones in India.

On the other hand, iOS has been a benchmark operating system. They were the ones to launch voice command for the first time. They introduced a better front camera. And they were the ones to develop the better notch, lately. And the feature list of iOS is extensively long and impressive. From Siri to their security, everything is good to go.

What are the Software Update and Issue?

The software updates in both the operating systems are equally well and timely. So, if the only concern for you is the software update, then you can consider any of them because the software update of both the OS is timely and they come at a regular interval. Whereas talking about the issues of Samsung, we often see their phones lagging and some hang a lot. These problems rarely or never arise in iPhones.

The difference in time and things between the launches of these companies

Samsung Smartphones – Samsung is always ahead of Apple as for when Apple launches its phone Samsung had already launched their masterpiece. For those who still don’t know Samsung has seen most of the high-end phones launching in between April and July, whereas September seems to be more favorable for Apple. Things still change in accordance with what the companies find better.
