Unesco which means the United Nations Education, Scientific and Cultural Organization is one thing that has very actively taken part in listing down various education, scientific significant and cultural places in not just India but the complete world. Now there are many places in India that have been registered in the UNESCO’s list of tribunal places but all of them have a different, yet significant significance in the list.

The UNESCO has contributed a lot in preserving and developing these sites for India, therefore we cannot neglect the contribution of UNESCO in India. They have constantly kept an eye on each and every monument and site of India making them better and helping the government to keep it intact. The mark the importance of all heritage sites, world heritage day in India is celebrated on 18th April of every month.
