Anthargange:

Anthargange, one of the best night trekking destinations is located in Karnataka. The best part about this trekking destination is the cave excavation aspect. Trust us on this, this night trekking voyage is going to take your breath away. Themaze-like path which is created by big boulders, volcanic rocks, and the cave-like formation can be narrow at some places. But that is what trekking is all about. You will have to do a few hours of trekking before you land up to a place which has a clear blue sky as the roof and millions and millions of stars gazing upon us.

How to reach- Anthargange is 3 km away from Kolar railway station in Karnataka and the airport is 70 km away. You can easily hire a bike or a taxi from Bangalore to reach here.

DhotreyTonglu Top:

Our next stop will be Darjeeling and from there to DhotryTonglu Top. Although Dhotry is perfect for both day and night trekking; if you feel like spending time exploring the town during the day, then make a plan to trek here at night. You will many people talking about Tiger Hill as their favourite night trek walk, but we will suggest you go to Dhotry for a change. The morning sun rising and kissing hilltops of the snow-capped mountain is a sight that will stay with you forever.

How to reach- You can take a car ride from Darjeeling to reach DhotreyTonglu Top. It will take around 2.5 hours to reach here.

Ranganathaswamy Betta Trek:

Another night trekking destination which is located in Karnataka is Ranganathaswamy Betta Trek. Being surrounded by the beautiful view, Ranganathaswamy Betta Trek is considered to be one of the best trekking destinations in South India and also perfect for night trekking. Your trekking will begin from Bannerghatta national park.

How to reach- Ranganathaswamy Betta Trek is 80 km away from Bengaluru. You can either drive your own car, hire a bike, or book a taxi to reach here.

Rajmachi Trek:

Let’s travel to Maharashtra now. Just a few km away from Lonavala is the home for another stunning night trekking destination and that is non-other than Rajmachi Trek. Nightfall is about the stars in the sky, cool breeze, buzzing sounds of insects, and mesmerizing fireflies. Well, that’s what Rajmachi Trek is all about. This trek may make you feel tired, but it’s worth the try. It will take 10 to 12 hours to complete the entire trek.

How to reach- Rajmachi trek is 20 km away from Lonavala. Hire a taxi from Lonavala to reach Rajmachi.

Harishchandragad Trek:

Harishchandragad Trek is located in Maharashtra. It is said to be one of the toughest trekking routes here in India, but that’s the charm of it. Trekking starts late in the evening and the night trekking experience here is one of a kind. This route will definitely test your endurance. But apart from being tough, the route is truly mesmerizing.

How to reach- Harishchandragad Trek site is 156 km away from Pune. The better thing to do is drive your own car or ride a bike on NH50 to reach Harishchandragad Trek spot easily.

Kunti Betta:

Kunti Betta is in Karnataka. A hill, so beautiful that you will not feel like returning home. You can start your trek to Kunti Beta from 12 am to finally be able to see the beautiful sunrise. Imagine being amidst the lush green forest, enjoying a bonfire at night and finally see a few rays of light emerging from a corner.

How to reach- Kunti Betta will be 125 km away from Bangalore. Best way to reach here is by bus. Reach Pandavapura first and from there it is just a few km away.

Vikatgad Trek:

In the heart of Raigad lies a beautiful and rather silent trekking destination Vikatgad trek. The best time to come here for trekking is during monsoon when everything around you is green and fresh. The trekking will include fun, adventure, dense forest, rocky patches, waterfalls, caves, and ridge walking.

How to reach- Reach Neral first, from there Vikatgad trekking site is only 3-4 km away

Tholung Monastery trek:

Tholung Monastery trekking spot is in Sikkim. This beautiful trekking destination is the favourite among photographers. Tholung Monastery was built during the 18th century. It will take round- about 5 hours to complete the trek. You will have to cover a distance of 20 km from Linzey to reach Tholung Monastery. You will pass through serene dense forest and beautiful Tholung River.

How to reach: You will have to reach Bagdogra airport and if you wish to stay in the town of Gangtok. The next day, hire a taxi to reach Linzey. From there begin your trek.

Ramanagara Trek:

Ramanagra Trek is in Karnataka. Remember Sholey? Well, they made this place extremely popular. And all thanks to it, trekkers could find another stunning night trekking destination. If you are looking for an exhilarating night, Ramanagara trek is the right spot for you.

How to reach- It is only 50 km away from Bangalore. You can easily reach here by car or bike.

Korigad Trek:

Korigad trek is our last best night trekking destinations in India. Reach to the top and you will realize why it is on our list. The breath-taking view of the valley and the clear blue sky makes this trek worth every penny.

How to reach- Distance between Korigad and Lonavala is only 24 km. You can easily drive your car to reach here or hire a taxi for a day.
