Movie # 1: Avengers – Endgame
This is the top movie on the Hollywood movies list. It is based on the Avengers team which is popular in the Marvel comic books series. In this series, the team tries to avenge the villain Thanos who used the Infinity Gauntlet to destroy half of the universe. The main Avengers, Carol Danvers rescues two members of the team. The entire team then sets out to avenge Thanos. Thor cuts off Thanos’s head after he (Thanos) tells them he destroyed the Infinity stones which are vital in reversing the disintegration.
Movie # 2: Captain Marvel
This is also a superhero film which is based on the main character in the Marvel comic book series: Carol Danvers. It is the 21st movie to be released by Hollywood which belongs to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The year is set in 1995 and follows Carol Danvers as she becomes Captain Marvel whose mission is to save the Earth after it is caught in the crossfire between two conflicting and battling alien civilizations.
Movie # 3: Aladdin
Walt Disney Pictures produced this movie in 2019. It is a fantasy film which also happens to be a musical. The movie is based on the famous tale One Thousand and One Nights. It is set in the Arabian city of Agrabah. The main character of the movie is Aladdin who lives on the streets with his pet monkey Abu. He has a heart of gold (even if he has no gold himself). He befriends Princess Jasmine who sneaks out of the palace to explore the city. She is tired of her sheltered and structured life and wants to seek some adventure in life.
The rest of the film chronicles the plot Jasmine’s father’s enemy plans to overthrow him (Jasmine’s father) and take the throne. He needs a magical lamp that has a genie who will grant him one wish (which is to overthrow Jasmine’s father, the existing sultan). Only Aladdin is deemed worthy to obtain this lamp. Jafar then persuades Aladdin to enter the cave where the magic lamp is hidden. He imprisons Aladdin in the cave once he gets the lamp, although Abu steals the lamp and eventually gives it back to Aladdin.
Movie # 4: Spider-man: Far from home
This American superhero film which was released earlier this year can also be considered to be one of the action movies upcoming Hollywood. It is based on one of the main characters in the Marvel Comic book series: Spiderman. The movie was co-produced by Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios. Sony Pictures Releasing distributed the movie. It is a sequel to the movie Spiderman: Homecoming which was released in 2017.
The story begins in Identco, Mexico where two reporters Nick Fury and Maria Hill investigate a storm that has just taken place which appears to have been started by supernatural forces. They encounter the Earth Elemental Quentin Beck in the process. A man with supernatural powers then arrives to fight Quentin Beck. The rest of the story revolves around the main character of SuperMan, Peter Parker. Peter Parker battles Beck in an attempt to save Planet Earth from his destructive superpowers.
Movie # 5: Toy Story 4
This is also a top movie on the Hollywood movies list. It is a computer-animated comedy movie that Pixar Animation Studios produced for Walt Disney Pictures. Toy Story 4 is the fourth consecutive movie to be released in Pixar’s Toy Story series. It is the sequel to the enigmatic movie Toy Story 3 which was released in 2010. Josh Cooley directed Toy Story 4. The movie is derived from a screenplay that Andrew Stanton and Stephany Folsom wrote.
Toy Story 4 is a continuation of Toy Story 3 which is a saga of Sheriff Woody, Buzz Lightyear and their toy friends. Humans Andrew and Bonnie adore them. Andrew and Bonnie introduce them to a toy spoon named Forky. All toys then embark on a road trip in which they do some exploring.
