Upcoming Hyundai Cars in India – Hyundai is one such car manufacturer that understands the Indian car market well and never fails to consistently deliver the competent, comfortable and budget-friendly models to the Indian car lovers. They have cars to suit every popular segment, thereby preserving their leadership in the domestic car market of India. Last year, this Korean carmaker has come forth with some high-flying facelifts and new generation models, while in the coming years Hyundai plans to launch some important and new products and even covering the electric car market with their new launch, Hyundai KONA Electric. In a bid to give a peek into their new launches here is the compiled list for all upcoming car models in India in 2019-2020.

  1. Hyundai KONA Eclectic

Upcoming Hyundai Cars in India – Hyundai is the car marker that is known to excel in all the segments of car and they are now making their presence in the electric car market with the launch of new Hyundai KONA Electric. It has already started catching the eyeballs of Indian buyers after it was showcased in Delhi Auto Expo 2018. Its production model is all-electric SUV and it is expected to be launched by the second half of 2019.

Hyundai KONA will be sharing its electric motor with the Ioniq Electric which is in the pipeline of production and expected to be launched by 2020. KONA is expected to offer a range of 300 KM with a single charge. KONA is also available in varied diesel and petrol powertrains with 7-speed and 6-speed DCT auto gearbox option. Designed with the new philosophy of the car marker, the new KONA features the crossovers stance.

  1. Hyundai Elantra Facelift

Elantra is one of the best sedans in India market and to bring back the zeal again, this Korean automaker has been testing the upgraded version of Hyundai Elantra. The Facelift Elantra is expected to be revealed in the car market by August 2019 with global debut by end of 2019. In regards to the design, the Elantra Facelift would feature a revised headlamp and tail lamps, new design LED daytime running light, bumpers, horizontally located LED inserts into the taillights and more. The back boot lid is revamped with number plate insert.

The interior has also been revamped in new Hyundai Elantra Facelift. The interior comes with new textures and color schemes for the seating surfaces and dashboard and it would have titivated infotainment options with next-gen Smart Stream engine and gearbox options.

  1. Hyundai Ioniq Electric Sedan

Not only in the electric SUV segment Hyundai carmaker is excelling, but they are expanding their horizon in electric product line-up in the sedan segment too by delivering the Indian market with electric sedan called Hyundai Ioniq. Hyundai Ioniq is amongst the upcoming Hyundai cars in India that are expected to be launched by the first half of 2020. Built on the Hyundai’s Zero-Emission platform, Hyundai Ioniq follows the advanced and fluidic design philosophy of the Korean carmaker.

Globally, Hyundai Ioniq would be available in 3 different power-trains options, fully electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid. Equipped with all-electric 28 kWh lithium-ion polymer batteries, new Hyundai Ioniq is capable of 118bhp of power generated against the 295Nm of torque and with a single charge, it lasts up to 200 KM. The power produced is fed to its front wheels through the 6-speed double-clutch auto gearbox.

Hyundai Next-Gen Grand i10, Hyundai Micro SUV, Hyundai Tucson Facelift, New Hyundai i20, and New Next-Gen Hyundai Creta are some of the other car models that are expected to be launched by the end of 2019. For more update and reviews of all models keep checking online.
